Carbon EU
For companies that report under the EU's sustainability rules. Prepare your ESRS E1 (climate) disclosure and your CBAM reports from one carbon ledger, with the Scope 1/2/3 figures worked out from your own records — built on the EU's own reporting standards, so the output is structured and checkable, not a spreadsheet.
Design-partner stage. The ESRS E1 and CBAM engines are built and tested, and run end-to-end against your Nakitte carbon ledger today. Carbon EU isn't generally available yet — we're looking for a first EU design partner to prove it in production. The standalone packaging that reads from your existing ERP (rather than the Nakitte ledger) is still ahead of us; we'd rather tell you exactly where it stands than oversell it.
What's already built
Your ESRS E1 climate disclosure
- An ESRS E1 climate disclosure, generated from your data — the §E1-6 greenhouse-gas figures (Scope 1, 2 and, where you have the data, Scope 3 by value-chain category) are filled in straight from your carbon ledger and frozen the moment you generate, so the numbers on the report always match the year they were taken from.
- The disclosure is rendered as a structured EU-standard document, validated against that standard's schema before it's produced and stamped with an integrity hash — so the document you keep is provably the one that was generated, and your auditor can check it hasn't changed.
- The qualitative parts — your transition plan (E1-1), policies (E1-2) and actions (E1-3), your internal carbon price (E1-8) and your climate targets (E1-4) — are yours to write and structure; nothing is auto-worded on your behalf or presented as a machine-made claim.
- An on-screen workspace pulls it together: enter those narratives, your targets and your internal carbon price, then generate, validate and download the disclosure — the same flow your team already uses for CBAM.
CBAM reports for goods you trade
- Ready-to-send CBAM disclosures — the same carbon ledger prepares the quarterly CBAM figures, validated against the schema, as a document you review and hand on. We prepare it; you (or the EU importer) file it.
Honest about what it is — and isn't
The greenhouse-gas numbers are machine-prepared from your ledger and checked against the standard. Everything narrative — the parts a regulator expects you to author — stays structured input that you own. We never file your CSRD report with anyone, and we never describe the figures as "assured": filing and assurance are your auditor's job, and the report says so plainly.
Coming soon
- Reading from your existing ERPComing soon — today the figures come from the Nakitte carbon ledger; the standalone connector that pulls activity data from an ERP you already run turns on with the first EU design partner.
- The rest of ESRS E1Coming soon — energy mix (E1-5), GHG removals and carbon credits (E1-7) and anticipated financial effects (E1-9) aren't modelled yet; they land as a paying engagement needs them.
- EFRAG XBRL taxonomy exportComing soon — we render a structured, validated disclosure now; the official EFRAG digital-tagging format is added when our reporting tier requires it.
- Market-based Scope 2Coming soon — Scope 2 is reported location-based today; contractual-instrument (market-based) accounting comes later.
